Fédération des cégeps

The Fédération des cégeps represents the 48 public colleges located throughout Quebec. It is responsible for promoting CEGEPs, defending their interests, supporting their development, encouraging collaboration, and providing them with services and advice to assist in fulfilling their mission.
In addition to disseminating information to its members, partners, and the media, the Federation offers public college institutions a range of services and guidance in areas such as pedagogy, student affairs, international affairs, legal matters, communications, continuing education and corporate training, funding, research, human resources, labor relations, and information resources.

CLÉ Program – Skills, Leadership, Education
Implemented by a consortium composed of the Fédération des cégeps, the Paul Gérin-Lajoie Foundation, and Éducation internationale, in partnership with the Francophonie Institute for Education and Training (IFEF) and the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), the CLÉ Program is funded by Global Affairs Canada and runs from 2020 to 2028. Its goal is to improve the economic and social well-being of vulnerable populations, particularly women and girls, in six countries: Senegal, Guinea, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, and Rwanda.
To achieve this, the program supports capacity-building in basic education and technical and vocational training. It will mobilize 740 volunteers, including around 100 recruited by the Fédération des cégeps, for assignments lasting 1 to 12 months (often 2–3 months).
This project is a unique opportunity for graduates, final-year students, teachers, and CEGEP staff who wish to contribute to international development.
